The 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) will officially begin on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, and end on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Thousands of Junior High School students across Ghana will sit for the exam, which determines placement into Senior High Schools.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has assured the public of a smooth and fair examination process, with strict measures in place to prevent malpractice.
The Ministry of Education encourages all candidates to stay calm, revise thoroughly, and follow exam rules. Students are advised to arrive early at their centers and come prepared with all required materials.
