The West African Senior School Certificate Examination, or WASSCE for short, is administered once a year in several African nations, including Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and The Gambia. 2023 was not an exemption in this case. Regrettably, the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) withheld some subject results from applicants from 235 schools that submitted artificial intelligence-generated solutions after the 2023 administration of the West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (AWSCE).
As some are grieving, others are triumphing because of the flying colors they got in their results.
