An institution where students reside on campus while receiving formal education is known as a boarding school. When we talk about “boarding,” we mean “room and board,” which refers to housing and meals. Due to their numerous centuries of existence and current global reach, they differ tremendously in terms of how they operate, their codes of behavior, and their ethos. During the academic year, students in boarding schools live and learn among other students, teachers, and administrators. There are also day students at certain boarding institutions who come in during the day and go home at night.
Students enrolled at boarding schools are commonly called “boarders”. Children may attend boarding school for a maximum of twelve years, or longer until they turn eighteen. Depending on how frequently they visit their family, there are many kinds of boarders. At the conclusion of each school year, semester, and week, weekly boarders, as well as full-term boarders, have weekend visits with their homes.
When students live on campus, boarding schools often offer a safe, clean, and healthy environment. But there are good and bad aspects to everything that has been made on Earth. This was discussed on the Teens Segment, a segment on the Bambini show.
