Nana Obeng Owusu Junior was a law student in his second year at the University of Ghana who was 19 years old after receiving an unknown pharmaceutical injection from a nurse on Monday, October 16, Nana Obeng Owusu Junior reportedly passed away at around 7 o’clock. His mother, Mrs. Nelly Mills, describes how her son unexpectedly died.
At the Ewim Polyclinic in the Cape Coast Metropolis, a male nurse named Michael allegedly administered him an unknown injection, and this terrible tragedy happened two minutes later.
The nurse and Nana reportedly disagreed when Nana received care for asthmatic problems. He was given an unknown chemical during his hospital stay in the mother’s absence (she had gone out to acquire the nurse’s prescription medication), which caused his death in mere seconds.
His body was swiftly embalmed by the hospital without any family members’ consent, and it was then delivered to the mortuary. They apparently also objected to the release of Nana’s body. Mrs. Mills begs the Ghana Health Service to investigate this and see that justice is done by opening an investigation.
