An unwelcome, hostile conduct among school-age children that involves an actual or imagined power imbalance is bullying. Over time, the conduct is repeated or has the possibility to be repeated. Both bullied children and children who harass others may experience severe, long-lasting issues.
Bullying has both adverse and favorable outcomes. Bullying has positive benefits on the victim, including making them highly intelligent and open-minded, assisting them in knowing the laws and regulations at their fingertips, and making passive teenagers, in particular, very active. Bullying must not be permitted, especially at boarding institutions, despite the fact that it can have positive impacts. The dread and panic that victims have when they see the bullies causes them to become distracted during class time out of a fear of reliving the trauma that comes with bullying.
