James Luttterodt died On Monday, July 3, 2023, it was revealed that he had passed away from what was likely food poisoning in Accra. On Saturday, September 9, hundreds of people gathered at the Keta Senior High Technical School for the final memorial service of the late James Lutterodt. The atmosphere there was one of sorrow and pain.
Friends, classmates, relatives, and representatives from the school administration gathered for the sorrowful ceremony to pay their final respects to the deceased 19-year-old. Many individuals were moved to tears by a young female pupil who gave a stirring statement after reading an obituary on behalf of her fellow students.
The student, who was dressed in traditional attire, paid tribute to James Lutterodt by describing him as the person everyone adored and who had made the school proud. As she talked about the hurt they had as students upon hearing of James’ passing, she found herself fighting back tears. Despite James Lutterodt’s passing, she came to the conclusion that everyone who was motivated by him will always remember and respect what he left behind.
