A person who is enrolled in school or another type of educational facility is called a student. A “student” is someone who attends a secondary school or higher in the United Kingdom and the majority of the commonwealth countries; “pupils” are those who attend primary or elementary schools.
One of the most debatable topics in Ghana especially with those that are less privileged is that parents urge their children to find work in other to support them in the continuation of the wards education, other parents also feel their wards need all the time to prepare emotionally and physically to enhance their next level of education.
The big question is which parent is right? is it the parent that wants their wards to work because of their financial status or parents that do not want their wards to work but prepare them emotionally and physically for their next stage in life? This became very debatable on the Teens Segment aired on Bambini Show. Watch the video below; https://fb.watch/n1sUKdcxcs/
